- 1). Attach a dry microfiber cloth pad to the mop head. It usually attaches with either Velcro or slips over the mop head frame, depending on the system. Sweep the floor with the dry mop to collect dust, dirt and other particles.
- 2). Remove the dirty microfiber cloth from the mop head and shake it over a receptacle to remove hair and dust particles. Put it in the wash. Replace it with a new cloth.
- 3). Fill a bucket with water and add a cleaner if desired. Wet the microfiber in the bucket.
- 4). Mop the floor with the wet mop, re-wetting it as needed. Allow the floor to air-dry. Remove the microfiber cloth for cleaning.
