How to Get Rid of Rust in a Dishwasher
- 1). Remove all dishes from your dishwasher before you start tackling the rust.
- 2). Fill the soap dispenser inside your dishwasher with a commercial rust remover product made specifically for appliances.
- 3). Add a few drizzles of the rust remover product to the bottom of the dishwasher, as well.
- 4). Run the dishwasher through one complete wash and rinse cycle.
- 5). Repeat steps 2 through 4, if necessary, to get rid of all the rust in your dishwasher.
