How to Repair Deep Scratches in Glass on Glass Top Stoves
- 1). Dampen a paper towel with water. Wipe off the cook top to remove loose soil on the surface.
- 2). Pour three to four drops of a cook top cleaning solution directly onto the scratch. Buff the scratch with a paper towel to fill in the scratches. The cleaning solution removes caked-on soil that gets into the scratches of the glass and fills the grooves, helping to prevent future damage.
- 3). Rinse the buffed area with a damp paper towel. Wipe the area dry with a paper towel.
