- 1). Wet a clean cloth with Novus #1 and wipe the piece of Plexiglass clean. This will remove any smudges or dirt that may be contaminating the plastic, which can interfere with scratch removal.
- 2). Shake the bottle of Novus #2. Apply heavily onto the Plexiglass.
- 3). Use another clean cloth to polish the plastic. Use a firm back-and-forth motion at a right angle to the scratch. If the cloth becomes depleted of polish, reapply Novus #2 to the cloth. You must keep the cloth saturated throughout the process.
- 4). Reapply Novus #2 to the Plexiglass once all major scratches have been removed. Use circular motion relying on small, circular strokes and light pressure.
- 5). Let the polish dry into a light haze.
- 6). Use a clean portion of the cloth and wipe the surface of the plastic using short, firm strokes.
- 7). Apply Novus #3 if scratches remain. Buff rigorously using firm strokes.
- 8). Use Novus #1 to polish the surface of the Plexiglass.
