How to Remove Pen Marks Off of Leather Bags

    Rubbing Alcohol

    • 1). Saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Rub the pen mark with the cotton ball in a circular motion.

    • 2). Dry the leather bag with a hairdryer. Set the hairdryer on the lowest setting. Hold it a few inches above the leather bag and move in a steady back-and-forth motion.

    • 3). Repeat the process until the pen mark is no longer visible on the leather bag.

    • 4). Apply a few drops of a leather cleaner and conditioner to a lint-free cloth. Rub the leather bag with the cloth to add moisture back to the leather.

    Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover

    • 1). Pour acetone-free nail polish remover into a small container. Dip the corner of a cloth into the nail polish remover.

    • 2). Rub the pen mark with the corner of the cloth. Continue rubbing in a circular motion until you have removed the pen mark.

    • 3). Rinse the area with a clean, damp cloth and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.

    • 4). Add a drop or two of a leather cleaner and conditioner to a lint-free cloth. Gently rub the leather bag with the saturated cloth to add moisture back to the leather.
