Homemade Dust Collector Plans

    Dryer Sheets

    • Many people use dryer sheets. But many people don't know that dryer sheets are just as effective at picking up dust as the leading dust mops. Place a dryer sheet to the end of a broom stick (it can be taped down to ensure it stays on). The dryer sheet can be swept around the house, picking up the dust bunnies along the way. They can be used to clean blinds or lampshades, too.

    Diapers

    • Cotton diapers that have not been used can also be used for dusting. With a little (very little) water in a plastic bag, add the diapers. When the diapers sit in the water and it is distributed among the diapers, they will be "humid," according to www.stretcher.com. Once the cloths are ready, begin your dusting. Use for tables, floors, appliances, blinds, the list goes on,.

    Handi Wipes

    • A few Handi Wipes can go a long way. Take a few and spray a furniture dusting polish directly on them. Dust all furniture with it. It not only grabs the dust, but will leave everything smelling great.
