- 1). Wet the brick with a hose or a spray bottle filled with water, depending on the size of the affected area.
- 2). Fill a large bucket with 1 gallon of water, and add 1 cup of bleach. Stir the mixture gently to evenly distribute the bleach throughout the water.
- 3). Dip a nylon-bristled scrub brush into the bleach mixture. Scrub the brick vigorously with the bleach solution to remove the fungus.
- 4). Rinse the bleach solution off the bricks with a hose or a spray bottle filled with water. Wait for the brick to air dry, then examine it to see if any mold or mildew remains. If so, repeat the entire process to remove any lingering mold or mildew.
