- 1). Remove all items from your backpack. Be sure that your backpack is free from any personal positions, ling and garbage.
- 2). Fill a bowl with hot water and a quarter size of dishwashing liquid. Dip your washcloth in the solution and rub the solution over any grease and stains on your backpack. Continue to do this until you have removed a good portion of the stains.
- 3). Fill your washing machine with hot water and laundry detergent. Place your backpack in the machine on the delicate cycle. Do not add any clothing to this load.
- 4). Hang your backpack to dry. Do not put your backpack in the dryer. The dryer may damage the material on your backpack. Once your backpack is completely dry it's ready for use.
