How to Safely Clean Wax From Your Silver Candelabra
- 1). Plug a hair dryer into an outlet and set it on medium heat.
- 2). Hold the hair dryer four to six inches from the wax on the silver candelabra. Work on one section at a time, moving the hair dryer back and forth over the wax to distribute the heat evenly.
- 3). Wipe the wax away with a cotton ball when it softens. Touch the candelabra with your fingertip before wiping to make sure it isn't hot enough to cause a burn.
- 4). Change cotton balls as they become soiled with wax.
- 5). Place your hand under the candle cups to keep the arms beneath them from bending when wiping wax from their interiors.
