Clean items that are ALL brass
Assemble several brass items to clean at one time.
Select several items to clean, and be sure they are brass. This method will only work with items that are solid brass, not those on a wooden base or with other metals. Do not use this method for pieces that will allow liquid to seep inside and not pour out. - 2). Make a pot of KoolAid.
Pour a package of KoolAid into the bucket or pan and add a gallon of water. Stir until dissolved. - 3). Add the brass pieces.
Dip the brass in the KoolAid. Leave these items over night, and be sure they are covered with the liquid. - 4
Old brass is pretty when clean
Remove the brass items.
Take the brass items out of the water. Rinse with clear water and dry with a soft cloth. - 5). Use the mixture again.
The KoolAid may be used again for more brass items. Immerse and leave the items overnight. This is a great way to clean brass cheaply.
