How to Clean Pink Suede

    • 1). Rub the surface of the pink suede with a clean, dry bath towel. Rubbing the surface of the suede will bring up the nap. Bringing up the nap will prepare the suede to be cleaned in the proper manner.

    • 2). Rub a pencil eraser over all of the small, dry stains on the pink suede. If a stain is still wet, dry it off with a paper towel before attempting to use the eraser on it. The eraser should be fresh and unused. Using an old eraser may cause further damage to the suede.

    • 3). Use a damp towel with white vinegar on larger and harder to remove stains. Allow the suede to completely dry before you determine whether it worked or not. After you have removed stains in this manner, the pink suede may smell like white vinegar. This smell will fade with time.

    • 4). Use a fingernail file on dry scuff marks or clumps of dirt. Be gentle when using this technique as you do not want to damage the pink suede. The fingernail file should be rubbed slowly on the dirt or scuffs in an effort to remove the blemishes and maintain the original color of the suede.
