- 1). Dip the toothbrush into the distilled white vinegar before brushing around the outside of the jet nozzle and inside of each hot tub jet. Go back around to all jets a second time with the vinegar-soaked brush to get any material that was loosened by the initial soaking in vinegar.
- 2). Turn all the nozzles on the jets of the Kohler hot tub clockwise all the way. Fill the hot tub with water until all the jets are at least 2 inches under the surface of the water. Pour in the detergent and bleach.
- 3). Turn the Kohler hot tub on to a setting that engages all the jets, and allow it to cycle for 10 minutes. Drain the contents of the hot tub completely.
- 4). Fill the hot tub with water a second time until all the jets are at least 2 inches under the surface of the water. Turn the Kohler hot tub on to a setting that engages all the jets and allow it to cycle for another 10 minutes. Drain the contents of the hot tub completely.
