When your father is turning 70 years old, it's important that you mark the occasion with a special gift. Consider a sentimental gift that shows him how much you mean to him. You could also choose a gift that goes along with one of his hobbies, or gives him something to do with his spare time. - For a music lover who is turning 70 years old, consider a musical gift. For example, maybe he loves classical music or jazz. Buy him a set of CDs and a CD player so that he can listen to his favorite tunes. Records and record players have begun regaining mainstream popularity. Maybe he used to love listening to records back in his younger years. Purchase a new record player with him, along with records by his favorite artists. You can likely find new issues of the recordings, or you can scout thrift stores for originals.
