Another study conducted by the Boston University School of Medicine involved a group of patients who were prone to heart attacks and strokes. They were divided into two categories. The study lasted for 1 month. Half of the patients were given water, and half of the patients were given black tea. After 1 month, the group of black tea drinkers showed 50 percent improved blood vessel function.
