How to Change Your Leaf Blower From Vacuum to Blower
- 1). Turn off the leaf blower and set it on the ground.
- 2). Detach the leaf collection bag from the back of the vacuum by grasping the plastic ring where it is attached to the blower and pressing in while pulling outward. Some models also have a hook you detach from the handle that helps support the weight of the bag.
- 3). Grasp the lower end of the vacuum tube and trace it up to where it connects to the top blower tube. Press in on the plastic tabs at the seam and pull downward to detach the vacuum tube from the end of the leaf blower.
- 4). Attach the blower tube to the end of the blower by sliding the round end over the tube on the blower and pushing it upward until you hear it click into place. Some leaf blowers do not have a separate blower tube.
- 5). Switch the setting button on the leaf blower body to the blower function and begin using the leaf blower.
