- 1). Fill a large bowl with very warm water. This will not melt the wax, but softens it somewhat and makes it easier to remove.
- 2). Immerse the cucumbers in the warm water, and let them rest for four or five minutes.
- 3). Select a cucumber and scrub it methodically from end to end with the vegetable brush, rinsing frequently with the warm water. Continue until you do not feel any more wax on the skin.
- 4). Rinse the cucumber under cold running water, then dry it with a paper towel. Set it aside, and repeat for any remaining cucumbers.
