How to Install a VMware Player on an External USB Hard Drive
- 1). Connect the external USB (Universal Serial Bus) HDD (Hard Disk Drive) to the computer. Make sure the operating system gives it a drive letter and that it can be accessed.
- 2). Run the VMWare Player installation. Specify the external HDD as the target drive for the installation.
- 3). Run VMWare player once the installation is completed to test the installation, and for VMWare Player to make any adjustments to its files or registry entries.
