How to Reserve the F10 Button for Screen Size

    • 1). Create a new folder on your computer by right-clicking and selecting "New" and "Folder."

    • 2). Generate a globally unique identifying number ("GUID") number by visiting a website that does it automatically. Choose a GUID that is 32 digits and numbers, separated by hyphens and bracketed.

    • 3). Enter a name for the folder, beginning with "GodMode" and ending in the chosen globally unique identifiying number ("GUID") number. For example, type "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" without the quotation marks. Press "Enter" to save the folder name.

    • 4). Double-click the folder. Locate "Change display settings" under the menu labeled "Display." Right-click on "Change display settings" and select "Create shortcut." A shortcut to this system setting will be added to your desktop.

    • 5). Right-click on the new shortcut on your desktop and select "Properties."

    • 6). Click on the field labeled "Shortcut Key" and press the "F10" button. Click "OK." After you click "OK," you can access the screen resolution options by pressing the "F10" button.
