How to Use an Instant DVD Recorder
- 1). Place the camcorder next to an instant DVD recorder. Plug the camcorder end of the camcorder cable into the camcorder's output port. Plug the other end of the camcorder cable into the USB port on the instant DVD recorder.
- 2). Turn on the camcorder. Press the "Menu" button. Maneuver to the "Settings" menu. Select "USB mode" or "External mode" from the list of choices presented. Press the "Menu" button.
- 3). Turn on the Instant DVD recorder. Press the "Menu" button. Maneuver to the "Input" or "Source" setting. Select "USB" from the list of choices presented. Press the "Menu" button.
- 4). Press the "Create DVD" or "Start" button on the Instant DVD recorder's control panel. Enter a name for the DVD on the LCD panel's screen using the onscreen keyboard and the control keys on the control panel. Select "Next" or "Continue" to go to a new screen.
- 5). Select the time of the video that is going to be burned to DVD from the "Time" or "Length" drop down menu. Select "Next" or "Continue" to go to a new screen.
- 6). Check the "Create Chapters Automatically" checkbox on the screen if one is present. Leave any other checkboxes alone. Select "Next" or "Continue" to go to a new screen.
- 7). Review the choices you have made as listed on the screen. Select "Next" or 'Continue" to go to a new screen if you are satisfied with how the video will be burned to the DVD. Select "Back" or "Reverse" if you are not satisfied and want to make changes.
- 8). Press the "Eject" button on the Instant DVD recorder to eject the disc tray. Place the recordable DVD on the disc tray. Close the disc tray. Select the "Burn" or "Burn Now" button on the screen of the Instant DVD recorder's LCD panel. Wait as the instant DVD recorder plays the video from the camcorder and burns it to the DVD.
- 9). Press the "Eject" button on the instant DVD recorder to eject the disc tray after a confirmation screen states that the burning is done. Remove the DVD from the disc tray. Close the disc tray.

Remove the camcorder cable from the instant DVD recorder and the camcorder. Turn the instant DVD recorder off.
