Prince plays a struggling young performer in Minneapolis, and musical numbers include the title song, ?When Doves Cry,? and ?Let?s Go Crazy.? At the 1985 Academy Awards ceremony, Prince received an Oscar for ?Best Music, Original Song Score.?
