How to Format Secure Digital to NTFS
- 1). Insert your Secure Digital card into your card reader. If your card reader is an external USB model, then plug the card reader into an available USB port.
- 2). Click "Open folder to view files" to open Windows Explorer in the Secure Digital drive.
- 3). Right-click the Secure Digital drive letter from the left pane and select "Format..."
- 4). Click the drop-down menu under "File system" and select "NTFS."
- 5). Click "Start.'
- 6). Click "OK" in the confirmation window.
