A. It starts on Friday evening and lasts through Sunday afternoon.

A. Since the Beginning Experience is designed to help people bring closure to their past, it is important that participants are beyond their initial emotions of anger, self pity, and depression. They also need to want to move on with their lives. After you've submitted your application to attend a Beginning Experience, someone will help you in determining whether or not you are ready for the program.

A. Participants will listen to a series of presentations, do private reflection, and share in small groups. It is an opportunity to do some reevaluation of your life, experience healing, learn how to trust again, and to move forward in your life with hope and renewed energy.

A. The actual cost (food and lodging) of the program depends on the location.
Since it is a nonprofit organization, the costs are kept as low as the organizers can negotiate with the facility being used.
