Power Food Series - Broccoli And Other Vegetables (Part 2)

Anyone loves vegetables? Unfortunately, amongst the people I knew, many of them did not like veggies too much.
Although Mother nature preferred our digestive system to be crafted in a direction that is more herbivorous, sadly to say most of us prefer meat.
But, vegetables neutralize free radicals.
What exactly are free radicals? Free radicals are the molecules present in a human body that speed up the aging process, which explains the reason why some women force themselves to eat vegetables.
I like broccoli because most people feel that they feel fuller and they tend to eat much lesser carbohydrates in a meal.
This is due to the high fiber present in them.
Another advantage? They have more minerals and vitamins in them than any other vegetable known to man.
How does a person who hates vegetables enjoy vegetables? My suggestion is to hide your vegetables by pureeing vegetables.
If you puree your vegetables, it will be easier to enjoy them and at the same time let your body reaps the various benefits of the veggies.
Another surprise is that broccoli contains vitamin C that is equivalent to the amount of vitamin C found in Orange juice and almost half the amount of calcium present in milk! Broccoli also helps decreases the risk of diseases such as cancer because broccoli helps increase the enzymes that help detoxify carcinogens.
My advice is to just eat the florets of the broccoli instead of swallowing it down whole.
The florets have as much as three times as much beta-carotene as the stems.
Besides, they are a powerful source of antioxidants.
If you really hate vegetables that much, I would suggest you taste many types of vegetables and committing to that particular favorite vegetable.
Although it will be better to eat numerous types of vegetable, it will be easier to maintain your diet and you will not have to many temptations to give up.
Before you begin your quest towards the ultimate six-pack, you must establish a solid foundation to work on.
The foundation for any workout program -whether it's targeting your whole body or targeting your abdominals solely- must start with a strong core.
Most individuals fail to reach their goals because their weak core limits their overall stamina and strength.
