How to Make a Pop-Up Portfolio
- 1). Tape two 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch pieces of card stock together at the 8 1/2-inch seams.
- 2). Fold the paper along the seam so that you have two 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch pages, using a bone folder.
- 3). Cut a notch in the 8 1/2-inch paper seam where you want the pop-up information to be displayed. The notch should include two, 2-inch lines that run horizontally across the seam.
- 4). Fold the notch inside out so that it folds the opposite direction from how your pages fold. Use a bone folder to reinforce the fold.
- 5). Glue the pop-up information onto the cut-out notch.
- 6). Allow 10 minutes for the glue to dry.
- 7). Insert the pop-up page into your portfolio book with glue or double-sided tape on the backside of the page. Press the page firmly into the book to ensure a secure fit.
