There are plenty of misconceptions with regards to Nutrisystem.
In fact, there are people who think that program is a shake or liquid diet as opposed to being a food replacement weight loss program.
Shall we set the facts straight?
  1. You Get to Eat Comfort Foods - Yes, this is true.
    However, do note that the sizes would be significantly smaller.
    In the program's menu, you would be able to find macaroni and cheese, pizza, ravioli, burgers, chocolate cake, linguine, chocolate bars as well as a slew of other comfort foods that you wouldn't even think about eating when you're on a diet.
    But as mentioned above, the portions are indeed smaller and these meals have less salt, sugar, calories and carbohydrates on them.
    They will taste a little different than usual but they are still tasty.
  2. Diabetics Cannot Give Nutrisystem a Try - This is certainly false.
    The people behind the program have done extensive research and study into the food on the menu and have been able to provide food options for people who have more specific needs such as those required by diabetics.
    Needless to say, they need not worry about not finding enough options for them because more are in development.
  3. You Will Lose Weight through Nutrisystem even Without Exercise - Yes, you will lose weight but it would be quite slow.
    Basically, for a quicker and more effective weight loss, it is advisable that you couple the program with an exercise regime which you can do for a few minutes to an hour everyday.
    It isn't much, really.
    You simply need to have the discipline to stick to it and make it work for you.
