Finding The Best Psychological Treatment For Your Worst Anxiety - Part 4

Hello and welcome back to my series - Finding the best treatment for your worst anxiety.
In this article I want to talk about testimonials, attached with offer for purchasing a program for curing anxiety.
Those testimonials are very important for you, when reviewing a program, since it shows you that there are other people that used this program and succeed, and give you the feeling that by purchasing this specific program you become one of many.
As you know the human being is a social creature, so getting out of isolated position, and becoming one of many, is very essential for us to survive.
This has even higher importance when browsing the Internet for a cure t anxiety.
You will agree I assume that searching a treatment for anxiety is different then searching a game to play with.
We need to get support and assurance from others, and testimonials help us to achieve that.
BUT! Testimonials have another function - marketing.
They are there to convince you to buy the product.
In my previous article (part3) I discussed the essential part of marketing, so I will not repeat it know.
What I wanted to present you in this article is the notion that: It's easy to be wise after the event I assume that testimonials are true and authentic.
The problem with testimonials is that people after real cure tend to forget their previous inner-world condition.
By saying forget I don't mean they don't have memories from that period, that before the treatment, what I am say is that they are now in a different state of mind! If cure indeed happen, different gravity is now applied between the bodies (the ingredients) that compose their inner space-time - their reality.
It means that any interpretation they produce of their reality can not be loyal to the previous state.
In other words, someone that pass a true change, and I mean true!!! meaningful!!! structural!!! change, is not able to express authentically the inner-world he or she had, before the treatment.
The same is for you at this point in your life - If you are not yet in a treatment, or somewhere in the middle, you can not even imagine authentically the inner world that you may have after the treatment.
Today with the profusion of "instant" treatments, you can find many testimonials say: "before I was that and that..
..
...
now I am that and that"
so rationally, so easily, like they tell you about how they drink some new type of soda in the mall.
Sorry, but I don't buy it.
Certainly when concerning anxiety.
I am not say these people lie, I am say that either the treatment was very shallow that it only scratch the upper layer and gave a fast relief for the short term, so noting was actually change deeply, or that theses people are not fully realize to the change so they naively assume that they can render some kind of comparative report of before and now.
I will say it again: Treating anxiety is not like purchasing and new furniture in IDEA.
I completely understand if someone show me testimonial of someone that bought, lets say, new bed, and now he so happy to wake up in the morning, but I don't easily buy testimonials with regarding to mental cure.
Why - or that there was not change at all, or that this is a wisdom that come after event, where authentic retrospective is almost impossible.
What should you do with this information? Take testimonials in perspective! I would careful to use testimonials as the sole source for making a decision.
It may support your decision, but that it.
I want to break some myth and help you be less distracted by all the messages around you.
Curing anxiety will not turn you to happier person! Accordingly, happy person, or smiling person, or satisfied person (such as in testimonials) is not the evidence for nothing but of the temper of this person.
How can it be that anyone on testimonial is SO Happy and SO satisfied of the results.
These are persons that may tend to run and tell other about their success, and great that we have them BUT - They reflect a very selective sample of the population!!! Their evidence is of themselves and about themselves.
Not about you - don't forget that...
Happiness and success are not necessarily interrelated.
Each one of has has kind of temper that make him a happier guy or a sad guy, or impatient, or stressed, or relaxed etc..
