How do I Get a Polish Passport From Argentina?
- 1). Obtain a passport application form. These can be collected from the Polish Embassy in Buenos Aires between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- 2). Complete the passport application form neatly in Polish, not Spanish or English.
- 3). Attach all of the necessary original documentation to support your application.
- 4). Visit a photo booth that issues passport-sized pictures. Only photos taken against a white background and that clearly show a person's entire face will be accepted. Do not wear headwear or sunglasses or your photo will be rejected. Create a natural expression with your eyes open and mouth closed. Note that only photos taken in the six months prior to your passport application will be accepted.
- 5). Photocopy all your documentation. The embassy will need copies of some documents,and it's a good idea for you keep copies for your records, too.
- 6). Call 4801 0071 from inside Argentina and arrange an appointment at the embassy's consular section in Buenos Aires. Appointments can only be made between 2 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- 7). Visit the embassy for your appointment and pay the relevant fee. Expect to pay up to $131 USD, depending on your age and employment status. If you are aged 70 or over, then passports are issued free of charge.
- 8). Wait for your new Polish passport to be issued.
