How to Build Tyranid Termagants
- 1). Choose which type of Termagant you want to create. The Termagant plastic model kit allows you to build Termagants armed with spinefists, fleshborers or devourers.
- 2). Clip the parts of your model from the sprue using clippers. Each Termagant should consist of a torso, two pairs of hind legs, two arms and a head. The head comes in two parts, and the arms may be separate or a single piece together with the weapon. Each model should also have a round plastic slottabase.
- 3). Remove mold lines from the pieces of your model. Gently file flat surfaces to remove the line or scrape with a craft knife. This will be much harder to do once the figure is assembled.
- 4). Place a small dab of plastic cement or superglue on the sides of the torso and attach the legs. Hold the model together for a moment while the glue dries.
- 5). Insert the tab on the bottom of the legs into the slot on the base. A drop or two of glue will secure it in place.
- 6). Align the two halves of the head. Place a small amount of glue on one half and press them together.
- 7). Glue the completed head onto the neck. You can vary the position of the head to make the Termagant look up, down or to the sides.
- 8). Place some glue in the round sockets on the shoulders, then press the ball joints at the end of the arms into the sockets.
