Twitter is one of the most volatile marketing platforms found on the internet.
To be honest, Twitter might be the most difficult marketing platforms to master.
Don't be fooled by quick success stories or get rich quick Twitter schemes.
However, if approached correctly, Twitter can lead to some very lucrative marketing opportunities.
The main thing to remember is that any marketing venture is made or broken on trust.
That is, if the average consumer does not trust you enough, they will never buy anything you have for sell.
This is also true for Twitter marketing.
Don't think that you can build a list of followers, market your product like crazy, and find success all in one day.
In fact, in order to simply build a good list of followers, you will probably need to devote a month or two! Sound like fun? That's the part of internet marketing that many people don't teach; it is a job, and it requires work.
That is not to say that it can't be extremely rewarding, however.
I'm doing internet marketing as a full-time job! I am also a full-time student working toward my MBA,and I have a wife and two kids to support.
