How do I Connect & Set Up a Zv450w8 VCR to a TV?

    • 1). Connect a video cable to the back of the Magnavox ZV450MW8. You can connect a coaxial cable to the "Antenna Out" on the Magnavox ZV450MW or connect an RCA video cable to the "Video Out."

    • 2). Connect another video cable to the back of the Magnavox ZV450MW8 if you want to use higher quality outputs for the DVD. You either connect component video cables (red, blue, green) to the "Component Video Out" jacks or an S-Video cable to the "S-Video Out" jack on the back of the Magnavox ZV450MW8.

    • 3). Connect audio cables to the back of the Magnavox ZV450MW8. Connect RCA (white and red) cables to the "Audio Out" jacks under "DVD/VCR." If you used a coaxial cable in Step 1, you do not need separate audio cables. If you used higher quality video outputs for the DVD player, connect a second set of RCA cables to the "Audio Out" jacks under "DVD."

    • 4). Connect the cables from the Magnavox ZV450MW8 to the TV. If you used coaxial cables, connect the cable into "RF In" or "Cable In" or "Ant In." If you used RCA cables, connect the yellow, white and red cables into a corresponding input on the TV. The jacks on the TV will be color coded as well. If you used higher quality output for the DVD player, connect either the component or s-video cables and the red and white RCA cables into a separate input on the TV from the one you just used.

    • 5). Turn on the TV and Magnavox ZV450MW8, then tune the TV to the input you used in Step 5. If you used a coaxial cable, tune to channel 3.
