Inflammation - What Can You Do?

We need to learn and listen to our body.
For example inflammation could be a sign that we have something wrong.
It is defined as a response of body tissues to injury or irritation.
It is characterized by pain and swelling and redness and heat.
Although certainly is irritating it does play an important role in leading us know something is wrong with our body.
The problems can worsen if you do not figure out what is causing inflammation and do your best to treat it.
Chronic inflammation is a sign you may have even more severe problems including cancer and heart disease.
Blocked arteries can be affected by inflammation which is just as important as dealing with cholesterol and plaque buildup.
Cancer cells have been proven to become active from the pre cancerous stage due to inflammation.
Some cancers known to be associated with inflammation are breast, colon, esophagus, lung, and stomach cancer.
Other diseases you hear about in relation inflammation include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, emphysema, gingivitis, bursitis, tendinitis, and many more.
Injuries can also cause inflammation.
This is evident when white blood cells rush to the injured tissue, or you see fluid buildup causing swelling around an infected area.
Depending on the severity of it treating the injury can be done in various ways.
What you want to avoid are things that can lead to chronic inflammation.
These are the type of things that we can all do to help ourselves.

First of all you should watch of the type of food you eat.
Saturated fats can cause inflammation and are something to avoid.

Getting adequate exercise on a regular basis is good to promote overall health.

It is proven that most people do not get enough sleep every night.
Getting enough sleep is very important to your health.

If you suffer from high cholesterol it is important to be on a statin drug to help balance your good and bad cholesterol.
You also want to control your triglyceride number which cholesterol medicine can help with.

Smoking is extremely bad for our health and causing cancer and other kinds of inflammation.
7.
It is important to drink plenty of water every day.
It's also important to drink quality water and to avoid breathing polluted air.
8.
Nutritional products that promote overall health and wellness can help protect your body against inflammation.
Genetics do play a role in all of our lives and there's not much we can do about that.
The type of foods we eat can help as well.
Fish is especially good.
So are whole grains, vegetables, fruit, seeds, and nuts.
