Weight Loss Success Stories With Nutrisystem - What Traits Do They Have? Can Their Stories Help You?

One of the most attention getting things on the Nutrisystem site is all of the success stories and photos of people who have lost a lot of weight on the diet.
The skeptic in me used to wonder if the stories were exaggerated or if the photos were touched up.
Of course, I don't personally know any of the folks on the site and I can't speak for anyone else, but I do know from experience and from people that I have legitimately met and shared this experience with that the dramatic success stories are quite possible.
And, after you come to accept that these things are possible, then the next logical step is to then ask yourself how this might be possible for you.
It makes sense to see what things, habits, and behaviors these people have in common and then see if you can replicate some of these things and apply them to yourself.
In my observation, there are some things that many of these "Nutrisystem success stories" share.
I believe that we can learn from them.
And many of them are small things that work together to make a large impact.
Most of these behaviors aren't specialized and don't require a lot of sacrifice or special techniques and equipment.
In fact, making this process simple and streamlined seems to be a common theme which I will discuss in further detail in the following article.
Not Everyone Who Is Successful On Nutrisystem Knew That This Diet Was "The One," But They Didn't Let Their Doubts Stop Them From Giving Sincere And Repetitive Efforts If you read any of the blogs or forum posts, you'll probably see that many people admit they had their doubts that this diet would be any different than others.
Many approached it with dread.
Some will even say things like "this was my latch ditch effort.
" Or, "I really never believed that Nutrisystem was going to work.
" Occasionally, you will read about someone who had all sorts of enthusiasm or confidence, but many people approach starting a new diet in a relatively doubtful place and these folks are usually not a whole lot different.
What they do share though is that despite their doubts, they dove in and gave it their best effort, usually being careful to set themselves up to be successful rather than to be sabotaged, which leads me to my next point.
Nutrisystem Success Stories Often Know That Cheating Or Setbacks Doesn't Mean The Beginning Of The End: Do you know how most successful dieters define "failing" at a diet? While some might tell you that it means not losing any weight, people "in the know" will generally tell you that it means quitting.
Ketosis can take a bit of time.
People sometimes quit when they are very close to that first burst of weight loss.
And, that's really the first step down a very promising road.
Once many people begin seeing results, they are going to be more likely to stick with it because they are getting the pay off that they desire.
This is really, in my opinion, the key to the whole thing.
The people who lose 20, 30, 50 or even 100 pounds on Nutrisystem take it day by day and week by week.
They don't get discouraged if they have a week that doesn't show the numbers that they wanted or if they cheat for one day.
They just keep going.
Every week is not going to yield the same results.
It's the cumulative results that matter.
And, you can usually break even huge amounts of weight loss down into much smaller increments over time.
Even a 100 pound weight loss can usually be broken down into 2 - 5 pounds per week over months.
So, in order to be successful and to reach your end goal, you're going to have to hang in there and stick with it even on days when you don't like what the scale says and even after days where you've taken a day off.
The real key is continuing to go on until the triumphs resume and until you're humming along nicely and feeling good about the process again.
As folks on the forums are fond of saying "it's not over until you quit or give up.
" As long as continue on, you're still in the game.
The Nutrisystem Success Stories Will Usually Find The Combination Of Foods That Work Best For Them: One big positive about this diet is that there are many food and meal choices.
There's not a lot plans that let you eat ravioli, tacos, chocolate brownies, and nachos.
Still, very few people just adore every single one of the foods.
And this is why they offer the custom menu.
I still have people who tell me that they didn't know they could chose their own foods with Nutrisystem.
You absolutely can customize your package.
You just go to the "customized menu" icon at the bottom of the page instead.
And it will then ask you to chose the appropriate number of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts and snacks.
There's nothing wrong with loading up on those foods that you like most.
No one said this has to be drudgery or not pleasurable.
In fact, that's one of the biggest keys - finding what works for you and continuing on.
It's important to make this a process that you can live with.
Don't like structured workouts? Get outside and take your dog for a walk with a weight vest and a little speed.
Bike ride, dance or do whatever sounds tempting to you.
There's not anyone keeping score or making sure that you're doing it "right.
" The real gains, at least from what I've seen, are in finding what works, hitting your stride, and then just continuing on until you reach your goal.
This sounds overly simplistic, but it's more complex than it sounds.
People make it more complicated than it needs to be.
Of course, there's a whole community that will support you and nutrisystem gives you plenty of tools, but day in and day out, your best advocate is you.
