- 1). Open the main menu on your phone. On most phones this is the center navigation button or the left button below the main screen.
- 2). Scroll to and select the "Settings" icon.
- 3). Select the "Tones" or "Sounds" option.
- 4). Press the navigation center key down to the "Ringing tone" option.
- 5). Scroll to the right to highlight "Open gallery" and press the center navigation key to select it.
- 6). Select the folder where the media files are stored, including those transferred from the G1. Locate the song you wish to use and select it.
- 7). Press the "Options" button and select "Save" to set the file as your ringtone.
