Identification

• Listen for the washer to beep seven times and then for the "E70" code to flash on the LCD screen. This confirms that your washer has the "E70" error.
  
  

Function

• The "E70" error means that your washer is not receiving cold water. You may notice that no cold water is entering your washer or if there is, there is very little.
  
  

Prevention/Solution

• Pull the washer out from the wall and check the hose connections. Ensure that the cold water connection is properly inserted into the back of the washer. Turn the cold water valve completely on for full water pressure.
  
  

Considerations

• Check for any leaks or drainage issues near the washer to make sure the hoses are properly inserted into the washer. Check the hot water connections to make sure the cold and hot water are not mixed up.
  
  

Types

• On some models of the Frigidaire washer, the error code may display as "E76." This error code is the same as "E70" and the same process should be used to correct the error.
