- 1). Visit your local hardware store or home improvement center and purchase a tube of stove gasket cement. Read the package and make sure the cement is heat safe.
- 2). Place the cookware on a flat surface, such as the kitchen table or counter. Apply a small amount of the heat-safe stove gasket cement to the crack in the stone cookware. Only apply the cement to the crack, not to the surface of the cookware itself.
- 3). Press the stone cookware together firmly to seal the crack and help the cement do its job. Clean any residue from the surface of the cookware with warm water. Allow the cookware to dry for at least 24 hours before using it again.
