How to Make a Class Mod With Willow Tree for Borderlands

    • 1). Open "Willow Tree." Select "File" in the menu bar. Select "Open." Search your hard drive for your Borderlands application. Open the Account Folder. Open the folder that's named for the character whose class you wish to mod. Select the saved game file. Press "OK" to open the file.

    • 2). Click the "Items" tab in the left panel.

    • 3). Click the class listed in the Item panel you wish to mod. These classes are designated for specific types, such as the scavenger or leader.

    • 4). Highlight the "gd_ItemGrades" property listed in the "Item Parts" panel. This is the first property in the list. Click the "gd_ItemGrades" tab. Scroll through the list in the tab until you find the class of your character. Select the class. Click "Swap Part." This changes the default ItemGrade with the one you just chose. This process let's your character use the class you are modding.

    • 5). Repeat the previous step for the next line item in the "Item Parts" tab, "gd_CommandDeck." Swap the default with the class of your character. Do this again for the last line item in the "Item Parts" tab, "gd_Title."

    • 6). Click "gd_Body," "gd_LeftSide," "gd_ManufacturingMaterials," and "gd_RightSide" to change the body style and skin of your modded class. Go through each attribute just as you did the "gd_ItemGrades" line item. Check the properties of each line item. Swap the default with a different line item. Set the Quality property to 5, the highest it can go, to have the highest possible quality of graphics for these changes.

    • 7). Swap the default "gd_Prefix" with another one to give your class mod a special ability. For example, the Prefix_Scavenger attribute gives you fast health regeneration, whereas the Prefix_Berserker has increased melee damage.
