How to Clean a Gas Stove With Tide
- 1). Fill a sink with hot water and add 1 tbsp. of Tide liquid laundry detergent. Swish the water and Tide with a wooden spoon to mix them together. Remove the grates from the gas stove. Submerge them in the hot water and allow them to soak.
- 2). Dampen a cloth with cool water. Wipe the gas stove with the cloth to remove surface dirt and debris.
- 3). Fill a bucket with 1 gallon of hot water. Add 1 tbsp. of Tide laundry detergent and mix together with the wooden spoon.
- 4). Submerge a sponge into the mixture. Wring out the excess mixture so the sponge is damp, not soggy.
- 5). Scrub the gas stove top with the sponge. Use a nylon scrub brush saturated in the mixture if there is stuck-on grease or food on the stove. Scrub the areas until the stuck-on food or grease is removed.
- 6). Dampen a clean cloth in cool water. Rinse the gas stove with the cloth. Dry with a clean, soft towel.
- 7). Scrub the grates soaking in the hot water with a nylon scrubber. Rinse with cool water and towel-dry. Replace the grates on the gas stove.
