- A washer won't run through a complete wash cycle if clothes are lopsided in the washtub. If clothes aren't spread out evenly in the tub, the washtub may become unbalanced and not spin. Rearrange the clothes so they're evenly distributed in the washtub, and reset the wash cycle.
