Losing Weight With Medifast - Tips Advice to Make Sure That This Happens Quickly and Easily

At the end of the day, I think that there are really three factors that make or break a diet.
These are: how painful (or painless) the diet really is; how hard the diet is to stick to; and how effective the diet is.
( In other words, do the results justify the effort?) No one wants to go through all of the effort, time, and expense just to feel like they didn't get their money's worth.
So, in the following article, I'm going to be addressing one of these variables based on experience.
That is: how hard is it to really lose weight on the Medifast diet? Note that this is my opinion based on my own experience.
By no means am I an expert but I can share with you how this has worked out for me.
A Lot Of The Work Is Done For You: I often tell people that medifast truly is a diet for lazy folks.
I don't mean this in a bad or condescending way.
I guess what I really mean is that they have done a lot of the legwork.
You don't need to research anything.
You don't need to count or calculate anything.
You even don't have to cook your food the vast majority of the time (although you do prepare one meal each day.
) The only thing that they really ask you to do is to eat regularly, to eat the company's meals, and to follow their directions when you go to prepare your "lean and green meal.
" That's pretty much it.
And sometimes I think this holds people back.
I myself have been guilty of over thinking this process.
In the past, I've fallen into the trap of wondering why I have to eat six times, and what would happen if I skipped the lean and green meal.
Don't fall into these traps.
I can save you a lot of time and aggravation by telling you that you need to eat this much and this regularly to get into ketosis which leads me to my next point.
Ketosis Really Does Work And You Just Have To Trust This: You may not taste it or even realize it, but the medifast foods are low in excess carbs and higher in protein and fiber.
This is obviously done on purpose.
Although the company doesn't dwell on the fact that the high protein helps to put your body into ketosis, my experience is that this is what happens.
But luckily, you aren't eating pork rinds every day to accomplish this.
When you get into ketosis (which if you are doing everything right should take less than a week), your body will begin working through and burning it's fat.
This can seem like a leap of faith at first which is why people buy the ketone strips.
They want to see something concrete to know that it's working.
I understand this, but I also know from my own experience that so long as you eat what you're provided, it is set up to work.
Don't get discouraged if the strips don't show anything when you want them to.
Take another look at your lean and green foods and so long as you're fine there, just trust that they know what they are doing.
The worst thing that you can do is to think that you're the exception to the rule and that this is not going to work for you and to quit.
I truly do not know anyone who has followed along like they were supposed to who did not lose weight.
And, I've had weeks where it appeared that I wasn't in ketosis but proceeded to lose a lot of weight that week anyway.
Don't over think it.
Just eat the foods as directed and expect that you will be pleased.
Don't allow negativity or doubt to creep in.
Seize Small Victories And Keep Going: I believe without a doubt that the people who have the best results really pat themselves on the back when they lose weight.
They are creating an environment where they feel successful so that they want to just keep continuing on.
The number one indicator that you are going to lose a lot of weight is how long you stick with it.
You're done as soon as you stop and there is no way around this.
So long as you keep going, you will continue to make progress.
So, how hard is it to lose weight on medifast? Honestly, it's one of the easiest diets I've tried.
There just is not a lot of work involved.
I have a lot of crock pot "lean and green meals" so even this is not a big deal anymore.
And, if and when you get into ketosis, the weight loss just sort of happens and progresses on its own.
I do work out now because I like long, lean lines to match my new weight.
But, I do know of people who have had decent results without this.
