How to Check Your Activation for XP Home Edition
- 1). Click "Start" and "Run."
- 2). Type "oobe/msoobe /a" in the open field and click "OK." The Activate Windows dialogue box will open. If Windows XP is activated, you will see the message "Windows is already activated." If Windows is not activated, it will prompt you with the steps you need to take to activate it.
- 3). Click "OK" to close the Activate Windows dialogue box.
