How to Thread Organza Ribbon Through a Needle

- 1). Measure the width of the ribbon. Select a needle that is at least half long as the ribbon is wide.
- 2). Cut the end of the ribbon at a 30-degree angle. Use very sharp scissors to cut the ribbon. Dull scissors bend and distort the threads, making it more difficult to thread the ribbon through the needle.
- 3). Hold the needle with the eye pointing up. Hold the ribbon so that the point on the end is at the base of the eye of the needle. Push the point on the ribbon through the eye of the needle. Stick the ribbon in as far as you can.
- 4). Grasp the point of ribbon that you stuck through the eye and pull it through. Pull the ribbon down as you pull it through, to ease the other side of the ribbon through the eye.
- 5). Pull 3 inches of ribbon through the eye.
