Top 10 Hotels in Downtown Vancouver

Most visitors to Vancouver want to stay in Vancouver's downtown core. Hotels in Downtown Vancouver are close to nightlife, restaurants, and shopping, and are centrally located for access to Vancouver's Top 10 Attractions.

When you're searching for hotels in Downtown Vancouver, it's useful to know the names of the different neighborhoods. The West End and Coal Harbour border Stanley Park on the west side, the middle of downtown is simply "Downtown," while the chic neighbourhoods of Yaletown and Gastown are on the east side.

If you are traveling to Vancouver without a car, you may want to choose a hotel near a Canada Line station (Vancouver's rapid transit), for transport to and from the Vancouver Airport (YVR) and other sections of the city. The West End/Coal Harbour neighbourhoods are farthest from Canada Line stations; Downtown and Yaletown are closest.

For this list of the Top 10 Hotels in Downtown Vancouver, I'm including an array of options to suit every budget, from the best luxury hotels to the best budget hotels and hostels.
