Abnormal Bleeding

• Individuals who suffer from either Crohn's disease or colitis may experience blood in their bowel movements or rectal bleeding as a symptom.
  
  

Weight Loss

• Due to the inflammation of the intestinal lining, nutrients from food are unable to be properly absorbed. This results in unintentional weight loss and potentially dehydration.
  
  

Fatigue

• In both Crohn's disease and colitis, individuals may experience abnormal fatigue as a symptom.
