Reinstalling a Whirlpool Wall Oven Door on Hinges
- 1). Open the hinge mechanism on each side of the lower door, fully, so that the hinge juts out roughly perpendicular to the oven door. Do not use so much force that you bend the hinge; just open it as far as it will naturally rotate.
- 2). Position the oven door centered on the oven cavity and align the protruding hinges with the hinge slots on the lower, outer edge of the oven frame.
- 3). Slide the door forward to slot the hinges into the oven wall frame, pushing in gently but firmly, with even pressure on both sides of the door.
- 4). Open the oven door somewhat slowly, but fully, and you will feel the door drop just slightly as the hinges are seated in place.
- 5). Push the hinge latches on the inside of the oven door into the locked position so the door will not come off of the hinges when it's opened.
- 6). Open and close the oven door, fully, once or twice to test for smooth operation.
- 7). Repeat the same process for the lower oven door, if applicable.
