How do I Delete an Additional Instance of Vista OS?

    • 1). Bring up your Start Menu either by clicking the "Start" button on your desktop or by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard. Once the menu is open, click "Control Panel" to open your "Control Panel" window.

    • 2). Click "System and Maintenance," then select "Administrative Tools," before finally double-clicking "Computer Management." Alternatively, you can type "Computer Management" into your Start menu's search bar and press "Enter," and the top listing will be the shortcut to the "Computer Management" window.

    • 3). Open the "Storage" listing on the left-hand side of the screen, then click "Disk Management" to bring up a visual listing of all your partitions. Be mindful that the partition farthest to the left is the partition you are currently using.

    • 4). Right-click on the partition you want to remove and click "Delete Volume." Click "Yes" to confirm the deletion and your computer will wipe that space clean, allowing you to use it for whatever purpose you need.
