How to Fix a Windows Update Catalog
- 1). Run your antivirus and anti-malware utilities if you can boot Windows normally but two or more applications are not working correctly (such as executing very slowly), Viruses and malware can cause Windows updates to install incorrectly.
- 2). Reinstall a single application if it's not working correctly. On rare occasions, a Windows update can alter a single application's behavior.
