How to Replace the Batteries in a Husky Flashlight

    • 1). Find the battery compartment. In most Husky flashlights, the battery cap is on the end of the handle. In some models, the cap may be just under the bulb.

    • 2). Hold both ends of the flashlight.

    • 3). Twist your hands in opposite directions to open the battery case. You may have to twist hard if the cap is sticking.

    • 4). Take out the batteries by tipping the flashlight to the side.

    • 5). Insert the new batteries. If you have a small Husky flashlight, you will probably need AA batteries; a large Husky will likely require D size batteries. A diagram on the inside of the compartment will tell you how to load the batteries. Usually, the positive end of the battery with the bump goes toward the bulb.
