Outdoor Sculpture

VanDusen is home to variety of outdoor sculpture, incorporated effortlessly into the Garden's landscape. The red sculpture pictured above is the Throne of Nezahualcoyotl by Mexican artist Sebastian, a gift from the Government of Mexico in 1978. Eleven of the Garden's larger stone sculptures were created at the 1975 Vancouver International Stone Sculpture Symposium.
