Format Using Software

• 1). Tap the "Home" button on the face of your device to bring up the home screen. Then tap the "Menu" button to bring up the menu.
  
  
• 2). Tap "Settings" on the menu and then tap "Privacy" to select it from the Settings menu. Move your finger up the screen to get to the bottom of the Privacy menu and tap "Factory data reset" at the bottom of the menu.
  
  
• 3). Tap "Reset phone" when it appears on the screen. Enter your device's password, which will be the last four digits of the Epic's phone number, unless you changed it, and tap "Yes" to complete the process. Your device will now revert to its factory settings and erase all your information.
