How to Reinstall the Help & Support for Windows XP
- 1). Insert your Windows XP CD into the drive. Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Run." Enter "%windir%\INF" into the text box and press "OK." This opens the main Windows system directory that contains several INF files used to install utilities for Windows.
- 2). Locate the "pchealth.inf" file in the INF directory. Right-click the file in your Explorer window and select "Install."
- 3). Select your CD-ROM drive from the window that opens. If you have the "i386" directory on your hard drive, click the "Browse" button and select it from the "Open Directory" window that pops up. Click the "OK" button to finalize the process and install the Help Center.
